Every leadership journey starts with belief.
Before you can learn how to lead, you have to believe that you can lead.
Confidence doesn’t come after the calling. It often comes from someone else seeing potential in you before you do.
When I was 19, a couple believed in me enough to ask me to lead a youth group. They saw something I couldn’t yet see. That moment has shaped the next 30+ years of my life.
This reminds me of Paul’s words to Timothy: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers” (1 Timothy 4:12).
Leadership isn’t about age or position; it’s about willingness and growth.
John Maxwell says that leadership is influence; nothing more, nothing less, and your influence will grow when belief is nurtured.
Today, I choose to place that same belief in others.
I believe in you and in your potential to lead. Sometimes, all it takes is for someone to say, “I see it in you.”
